Didim Most Beautiful Beaches and Bays
1) Didim Altinkum Beach
Altinkum is one of the most crowded and popular beaches among Didim beaches. It is quite crowded during the summer season due to the density of hotels and restaurants around the beach. Altinkum Beach is named after its golden sands. When you step on the golden sand you will feel a relaxation which you can’t find anywhere else in the world. The sea is shallow and clear, with the deep blue sea water you can see small creatures under your legs. This blue-flagged beach is free of charge. Services such as umbrellas, sun beds and showers are rented and charged by private companies.
Since Altinkum Beach Didim is a very crowded beach during the summer season, you can choose, 1st Bay Beach, 2nd Bay Beach or 3rd Beach Bays which are located at the end of Altinkum Beach. These small bays are quite small and quieter, you can freely prefer these beaches if you can’t find an empty spot at Altinkum Beach.
How to get to Altinkum Beach Didim?
You can easily reach the beach by using shuttles which are departing from Didim town center. If you want to reach by taxi, you should pay approximately 30 to 40 Turkish Liras. Public transport costs approximately 8 Turkish Liras per person.
2) Didim Akbuk Beach
Didim Akbuk Beach is located about 20 kilometers away from the Didim Town Center and it is the second most popular beach of Didim. Akbuk Beach, which is preferred after Altinkum Beach, is one of the place where blue and green tones come together. The deep blue sea is shallow and clear. It is suitable for all water sport activities in this unique sea. (Scuba Diving, Windsurfing and etc…)
How to get to Didim Akbuk Beach?
In Didim transportation is quite easy and you find many alternatives to reach beaches. To reach Akbuk Beach, you can use the Akbuk minibuses departing from the Didim Center bus station.
The fare of the minibuses which is departing every 30 minutes is approximately 10 Turkish Liras per person.
3) Didim Dalyanaki Bay
Dalyanaki Bay is the natural harbor of the Didim. It is a natural harbor that boats like to refuge in the winter months. You can enjoy the silence in Dalyanaki Bay while the waves compete against each other in the Aegean Sea.
How to get to Dalyanaki Bay Didim?
You can reach Dalyanaki Bay with boat tour or with our car. But we advice you to go by boat tour. You can find boat tours in town center which are visiting Dalyanaki Bay.
4) Didim Akvaryum Bay – Didim Aquarium Bay
If you came to Didim for holiday, you should definitely take a boat trip once. To see all Didim beaches by car or minibuses is a hard job, you can see all of them with boat tours. Daily boat trips are visiting Aquarium Bay Didim frequently. Aquarium Bay is quite clean, the bottom of the sea is completely sandy and the sea is shallow.
How to get to Didim Aquarium Bay?
Our first advice is to reach this bay by boat trip. If you don’t have enough time for boat trip, you can easily reach it by minibuses. You can use minibuses which are moving in İnönü Boulevard direction.
5) Didim Manastır Bay – Didim Monastery Bay
Due to the protruding geographical structure of the Didim, there are more bays than beaches. Generally, holiday resorts have gained fame with their beaches and bays. Looking for a bay where you can swim quietly across the view of the Greek islands? Didim’s Monastery Bay is just the place you are looking for. It is a very quiet and a secret bay across the Greek Island. The deep blue sea is shallow and clear. You can take a beach walk towards the sunset on its fine sandy beach.
How to get to Didim Monastery Bay?
Take the Didim Marina road on your right and you can reach the bay after approximately 2.5 kilometers. Even if the way to the Didim Monastery Bay is bad, the unique view and beauty of the sea makes you forget all the bad experience on the road.
6) Didim Cennet Bay – Didim Paradise Bay
Cennet Bay is one of the most crowded bays, although not as much as Altinkum Beach. It is located right next to Martı Site, this bay is quite crowded during the summer season and it has a capacity of only 400 people. The fine sand of the coast and the sandy sea completely pleases tourists. The sea is shallow and clear. If you want to swim along with sea animals you can favor this bay.

You can easily reach by using Martı Site minibuses departing from Didim town center. Minibuses are approximately 5 Turkish Liras per person.
7) Didim Saplı Island
Didim Saplı Ada is located in Akbuk district of Didim. The volcanic eruption that took place in the region centuries ago, make a connection road which you can pass from coast to island. It is a very ideal holiday destination for you to walk to the shore from the sea by using the connection road on Saplı Island, during your walk you can swim in safe areas and take great landscape photos.
How to get to Didim Saplı Island?
You should first go to Akbuk town by using Akbuk minibuses which are departing from Didim City Center Bus Station. Akbuk minibuses cost about 10 TL per person. Sapli Ada is about 5 kilometers from the center of Akbuk. Public buses 254, 275 and 405 pass right in front of the island.
